After taking a little holiday break, it’s time to get back into the swing of things. To help me get my mojo back, I’m playing along with My Favorite Things Challenge #60.
I didn’t have the exact My Favorite Things colors so I substituted with similar colors that I had on hand. The colors I used were: Paper and More Tiffany Blue and Stampin’ Up! Flirty Flamingo, Island Indigo and Smoky Slate — while not exact I think they were a pretty close match.
MFT Stamps Jumping with Joy:
To begin, I stamped the little girl from MFT Stamps Jumping with Joy in Memento Tuxedo black ink on Copic Xpress Blending Cardstock. I cut her out with the coordinating die before coloring her in with Copic markers.
I love all of the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence girls. They are so cute and you can color them to match any color scheme.
Before attaching the little girl to my card, I stamped the “smile” sentiment from MFT All Occasion Sentiments Stamp set in SU Smoky Slate ink.
TIP: Stamp the sentiment before attaching the colored image so if you make a boo-boo you can flip the white cardstock over and try again. 🙂
Once my sentiment was stamped and my little girl was placed, I dressed up my card with some sequins and flowers cut with the My Favorite Things Stitched Flowers Die-namics.
