Fall Coffee Thank You Card / Gift Card Holder

MFT Jumping With Joy Coffee Gift Card Holder

Hey guys, today I have a Fall/coffee themed thank you card. Isn’t she adorable? And if this card isn’t cute enough on it’s own, there’s a surprise bonus inside — It’s also a gift card holder.

Mix and Match:

To make my card, I used stamps from three different stamp sets. The little girl is from My Favorite Things Jumping with Joy, The coffee cups and banner are from the Neat & Tangled STAMPtember stamp set and “ENJOY” on the inside of the card is from the Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags set.

Coordinating with Copics:

The background paper of my card is from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid paper pack — great papers for fall crafting! After I stamped the featured coffee girl, I colored her in with Copic markers. It’s so nice to be able to color my images to coordinate with whatever paper I am using.

I’ve only started using Copics recently and I’m gradually building my collection. I found the best price on Copics at Blick Art Supply – only $5.24/ea for Sketch or Original, and $3.59/ea for Ciao. I figure if a purchase a few each month, soon I’ll be able to coordinate with all of my papers. 🙂

These are the colors I used today to coordinate with the Lawn Fawn paper:

To make the gift card pocket:

  • Use My Favorite Things Gift Card Grooves Die-namic to cut a slot in a 4″ x 3″  piece of cardstock. (cut the slot about 3/4″ from the top)
  • Run glue around the edges and attach to the inside flap of the card.
  • Decorate the pocket to coordinate with the front of the card.
