The Gift Card Tag Base:
I used the Reverse Confetti Gift Card Holder Tag dies to create the base for my tag.
- Cut one tag out of heavy #110 white cardstock and a second out of blue cardstock.
- Use the gift card holder slot die to cut a slit in the blue tag where you will slip in your gift card.
- Apply adhesive around only the edges of the blue tag and attach the white and blue tags together. By applying glue only around the edges you should now have a pocket for your gift card.
Decorate the Tag:
To decorate my tag, I used the Reverse Confetti Holly dies to cut the holly leaves out of green cardstock. I cut the background for the holly berries out of white cardstock and the individual berries out of red glitter cardstock.
The sentiment is from the Reverse Confetti Naughty or Nice stamp set. This set has super cute sayings that are sure to make you smile! 🙂 I stamped the sentiment on a piece of 1 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ white cardstock and rounded the corners with the Cropadile Corner Chomper.
To finish off my tag I added a red glitter banner which I cut out using one of the banner dies that is included in the tag die set and I added some red tinsel yarn which I picked up at Joann’s last year.
